Pastor Vickey J. Lewis is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born to Walter and Thelma Ford, she is the middle child among four siblings. She is the mother of two children; Bernadette and William. She has one grandson, Taron.
Chosen and anointed by God, Pastor Lewis's Christian tenure and service resume is comprehensive and marked by multi-faceted ministry. Beginning as a teenager with Hall's United Methodist Church, she served as a Junior Usher and Youth Choir member. Then in 1979, at St. James Church of the Apostolic Faith, Inc., under the mentoring and tutelage of Bishop Gene and Mother Irene Johnson, she was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. As a faithful member of St. James
she served and assisted in many ministry capacities such as Usher, Nurses' Aide, Armour Bearer and as a member of the St. James Gospel Choir and the Convocation Mass Choir. In August 1999, she was elected as the National Youth and Young Adult President for the St. James Churches of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. and fellowshipping churches.
Ministerial licenses were conferred upon her in August
1980, and in 1991 Pastor Lewis was installed as the Assistant Pastor of the
Outreach Deliverance Mission, Inc. under the covering of Pastor Barbara Ann
Moore. Promotion came again in September 1999, when she was ordained Pastor
of the Outreach Deliverance Mission birthing The Apostolic Body of Christ
in Halifax, VA.
Pastor Lewis is an enthusiastic preacher, worshipper and warrior for the Kingdom.
Bringing healing and reconciliation is the heart of her ministry, she continues
to grow and expand in ministry currently partnering with Berean Light Ministries
located in Emporia, Va. and Faith Temple WCC located in Seaboard, NC. Her
