Shevona Johnson was born in Illinois and raised in the Washington, DC area.

In 1998, Shevona received her BS in Marketing from Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. She works in the Advert-ising and Marketing Department of a medical association in Virginia. Her hobbies include reading, shopping, graphic and web design.

She is a member of The First Baptist Church of Glenarden (MD), where she attends service with her husband and sons. Shevona and her family reside in Prince George's County, MD.
